What this service actually involves
A fob that stopped working has four usual causes, in order of likelihood: a flat battery, worn button contacts, a car-side receiver fault, and only then lost pairing. The visit starts with a transmission test, because programming a healthy fob to a deaf car fixes nothing and costs you money for nothing.
When pairing is the fix, it happens through the diagnostic port at your location, with the fob matched by VIN down to the button layout so remote start and tailgate release actually function. Lost or stolen fobs are erased from the car in the same session, which turns them into plastic.

The remote works from two feet away only.
That is a battery or a corroded contact, not programming. It gets fixed in minutes and costs a fraction of a new fob.
Can I buy the fob and have you program it?
Yes, with the caveat that marketplace fobs are a lottery: locked or previously-married units cannot be paired by anyone. We test yours first and quote our own stock as the alternative.
My car has push-button start. Different process?
Proximity systems register the fob differently than blade transponders, but it is the same visit and the same port. The emergency blade hidden in the fob gets cut to match as part of the job.
